Came here around 1PM on a Thursday and it was packed!! Would definitely recommend ordering over the phone in advance because the line can get quite long. Food: - #6 3/4 (Roasted Turkey w/ roasted red bell peppers, romaine lettuce, fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, basil, drizzled with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Italian herbs, and house made pesto served on ciabatta): 5/5 Such a good sandwich. Bread was lowkey falling apart, but still delicious. The biggest plus was that the pesto has no nuts in it - it is great and really adds to the sandwich. Service: Ordering over the phone made it easy to get my sandwich at a specific time. It was ready when I got there! The only reason I would give this place 4 stars is because I called multiple times asking whether or not the pesto contained any nuts due to a nut allergy. They were friendly, but unable to answer my question. After calling 3 times, someone was able to tell me it had no nuts :-) I think it would just be helpful to have it listed on the menu or website. Pricing: $ Super worth it for a sandwich of this caliber. Sandwich is a bit on the smaller side, but the ingredients are fresh and yummy. Ambiance: Very busy atmosphere and has some nice outdoor seating :-) The table we sat at was clean. Parking: Got lucky with street parking, but it doesn't look like there are too many spots available. Will definitely be back to try more sandwiches!!

They place is hella busy for a good reason . They have a really good sandwich and the price is reasonable . They don't have online ordering or phone so you can try to come early . They are pretty quick. Once they've got my order, it takes no longer than 10 minutes to have my order ready,

This is one of my favorite sandwich shops in the East Bay. I don't frequent it often enough, but every time I do, I say, "I have to come here more often." This is a rare gem that really exemplifies what it means to be a neighborhood business.

I have always wanted to try this place but it's not in a convenient location and the it's not easy to park. That being said I got there at 2 and they were slammed. Long lines and it stayed that way the whole time. They were still super fast and efficient getting orders out. Once I ordered I only waited about 5 minutes. I had the Chicken pesto on Dutch crunch and the 1 1/2 on ciabatta. I knew I wanted to try the 1 1/2 after I saw Harvey's review of it from a year ago. Both sandwiches were really good, very fresh ingredients. I will say the 1 1/2 was my favorite though. I loved the toppings on it especially the zing that the banana peppers gave it.

Oh my goodness one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. At Saint Mary's bball camp for the weekend and I ordered a cali club which was turkey bacon lettuce tomato onion mayo I believe and it was fantastic. ciabatta bread sometimes does not hold Up over a period of time but even after about 45 minutes this sandwich was phenomenal. Crispy bacon, moist turkey fresh veggies everything about it was great. Definitely one of those sandwiches that you think about for a couple days after 5/5

Amazing sandwiches is always a reason to give 5 stars to a place but more than that where would you find coffee under $5 in this $8 coffee days. The coffee here was awesome and kind of a hidden gem for Walnut Creek. Sandwiches as usual remain a solid place.

Morucci's on Sunday morning at 815 was easy. Parked out front, got the Italian Subs, and were on our way. Service was quick since we were the only ones to order. Great Deli for meats, salad, chips.

I came here after my workout class to share a sandwich with my husband. Lines were long but you can tell all the customers frequent here as they didn't have to look at the menu and knew what they wanted as they stepped up to the counter. When you first arrive, order your sandwich at the deli counter. Then pay at the cashier counter and wait outside. There is a window for you to grab your order. I got the #1 Italian sub with everything, light mustard, light pesto. The bread was super crispy even when I had to drive 25 minutes home before having a bite. The deli meats were perfectly sliced. I wish they had a sweeter sauce for the sandwich like a sweet onion to contrast the savoriness of the rest sandwich. My reasoning for 4 stars is due to the long wait times. I waited around 20 minutes to order my sandwich. Just be prepared to wait :)

4.5 stars Yum! Lots of parking in the back (but I heard from some locals that this place gets really packed and the line will wrap around the store corner. - We ordered: #5 so good. Swapped out their sauce for Mayo on Dutch Crunch bread Basic but so good. I do wish I asked for peppers, it would've 100% completed it. #13 more veggie vibe but still very delicious The wait also wasn't that long which was good! There's seating inside and outside so you can grab your lunch here and grub really quickly here as well. Minus points: - bread on both was extremely hard to chew. It made the bread not enjoyable bc the bread was clawing into my gums.
